12/27/2017 You Can Equip Leaders With UsJuan Carlos is the pastor of a young church in Querétaro. After finishing Bible college, he planted a church by himself. He struggled for years lacking resources, guidance, and encouragement. Last year he connected with IMPACTOnetwork and now receives coaching that helps him set and accomplish goals, lead his church better, and reach his community more effectively. He says that having a training program and encouraging support team would have made the beginning years of his church plant much easier. You can help church planters like Juan Carlos by providing them with training and support through the IMPACTOnetwork Church Planting Residency Program. This 10 month program incorporates both theological training and hands on ministry experience at the first IMPACTOnetwork church planted in the city of Querétaro. The church planters in training spend time with experienced church planters who help them clarify their vision and work through the planning phases to prepare for their church launch.
Your gift of $50 covers a day of the program including instruction, materials, and living expenses. A donation of $300 covers a week and $1200 covers a month of expenses to equip future church planters to reach Mexico’s cities. With your help, we can equip church planters to IMPACT their cities in 2018. 12/19/2017 AVANZA Advancing toward the New YearThe IMPACTOnetwork assessment weekend, now known as Avanza (Advance), is coming up quickly in February. In order to foresee difficulties and challenges, our team had our own mini Avanza session at the beginning of December. Before the Avanza day, all of the team members completed seven personality/spiritual evaluations of which Avanza Director, Holly Alvarado reviewed and compiled the results. We spent our day reviewing the results of the different evaluations, doing team challenges, reviewing what our church planting candidates will experience during their Avanza weekend, and spending time praying for them and the observers who will give us their recommendations at the end of the weekend. We ask that you would be praying for our 6 candidates and their families who are in the process of filling out all the evaluations and questionnaires in preparation for their Avanza weekend. Please pray for the 10 observers from the US and Mexico who will be participating in this weekend as well. Also pray for our team, especially Holly, as we continue to organize and coordinate all of the details of this very important Avanza event.
Our IMPACTOnetwork team here in Querétaro would like to express our gratitude for you and your support of the ministry to plant cities in Mexico's cities. May your Christmas be filled with the peace that only Christ gives. ¡Feliz Navidad y Prospero Año Nuevo!
