5/16/2017 Urgent Prayer Request and May UpdateIt has been incredible to see God’s provision as we have been in the process of remodeling the IMPACTOnetwork office. We knew we were not going to have the full amount of funding we hoped for to cover everything planned as far as for the remodeling, painting, equipment purchases, and training and travel expenses. But God has multiplied all of the contributions that have come in this year for the IMPACTOnetwork allowing us to do much more than we could have imagined. There are about two more days of remodeling work to do that includes a few more odds and ends. For the most part, it looks like everything is ready and we are able to start preparations for the training materials and video recording. Eric and Dee Duggins arrived last week to Querétaro and are still in the process of settling in. It was very emotional to leave Pachuca, saying goodbye to everyone and to the house they have been in for 10 plus years. Even so, they are excited to be in Querétaro and ready to get started on all the work that has to be done for the IMPACTOnetwork. At the moment, Sergio Alvarado (Director of Church Planting), Eric Duggins (Director of Development), and Marisol Islas (Director of Legal and Accounting) are working daily at the offices. Dee Duggins and Holly Alvarado are also helping with as much as they can. Hector Rodríguez (Director of Mexican Recruitment and Promotion) and Joy Cronin Rodríguez (Director of Field Operations and Communications) are still in the process of disengagement from Jubilee Christian Church in Pachuca. Please keep them in your prayers as so many changes are hard and emotionally straining. They will be arriving mid July and the rest of the team is very excited to have them in Querétaro soon. As the IMPACTOnetwork launches in Mexico, we are searching for those whom God has called to be involved in church planting. We are making the project known by visiting churches and events around the country to get the word out about what God is doing. Héctor and Joy served at the CJMX youth conference at the beginning of May. They spoke with students about missions as well as presenting the IMPACTOnetwork project. It was exciting to share with youth who are passionate about the Gospel and reaching Mexico for Christ. Please join us in praying for the students who were challenged to become Kingdom ambassadors as well as the contacts that were made.
