10/16/2017 October 2017 Update and Prayer Requests
The main thing we have been working on is translating materials and adapting them to the culture here in Mexico and to our needs. We are organizing and designing all of the printable materials. Food, flights, schedules, and need to be coordinated for every event we are planing. We have also been meeting with a few couples each week to do coaching. This is something that will be ongoing as we have new Church Plating couples. Our first official activity that we will be promoting as IMPACTOnetwork will be the Assessment for Church Planters in February The Assessment for Church Planters will include our Mexican Church Planting Candidates and both American and Mexican Observers who will give us recommendations for the first Church Plant Pastor and two full time Resident couples. And non of the things above includes any personal, family things that we try to make time to do, which we are try to coordinate with all of the work that is being done. But God has been so good and provided so much good material and partners to provide those materials. I know we say this a lot, but we also have an amazing team that loves the Lord and does everything possible so that the Church Planting vision will be accomplished. Abby, Emily and Eric seem to be growing so fast. There is never a dull moment! They like to play outside in the neighborhood and for the first time we feel comfortable with them going out on their own, without any adult supervision, and just checking in once in a while. Homeschooling has gone really well and though grandma isn't around for a couple of months Holly has been able to keep her head above water. They are learning a great deal and are always full of questions and interesting conversations as we study all kinds of subjects.
Once again, thank you for being a part of what we do here in Mexico. Every prayer is appreciated and each day that we work we are so grateful for all that you do and give for our ministry here in Mexico and being an important part of reaching the lost for Christ. PRAYER REQUESTS
