Margarita struggled with alcoholism and the damaged it caused her family. Now, Christ is restoring her relationships.
Alicia says that after many years of not attending church, connecting to God through Expansión has been a turning point.
Gerardo had problems with marijuana. Now he is clean and leading a Life Group at La Viña with his wife.
Fanny says that Expansión has become her family and helped her in her walk with God.
These lives, and many more, have been transformed by the ministry of IMPACTOLatino. You can change even more lives by participating in the Miles for Missions event TOMORROW, Saturday May 28!
● Register the miles you're committed to covering in the way you choose (walk, bike, run, dance, swim, etc)
● Pray for IMPACTOLatino's missionaries and church planters
● Give a financial gift to support IMPACTOLatino's church plants in Mexico's largest cities
Your participation helps us reach even more people like Margarita, Alicia, Gerardo, and Fanny who are still far from Christ. ¡Gracias!
The new Expansión church plant officially launched on April 24th. There were 31 people in attendance at the launch. The two online Life Groups have 21 people participating. On April 30th, the team held a mini carnival for Children's Day in the Community Pastor's neighborhood. They connected with non Christian families to start building relationships in order to share the love of Christ. Please be praying for the Expansión team as they continue to find creative ways to connect people to Jesus online and in person.
El Ancla celebrated three baptisms in April! Daniela, Leova, and Rayhan all committed their lives to Christ in baptism. They also held a "Surrender Retreat" with thirteen participants who will start the Discipleship 2 course later this month. Their AnclaKIDS team organized a big party for their students on May 1st to celebrate Children's Day. Please pray for church planter, Andrés García and his leadership team as they continue to develop new ways to reach the unchurched El Mirador neighborhood.
It's been a great month at La Viña! There were 6 more baptisms on April 17th, for a total of 14 so far this year. Praise God with us for these new believers. On May 1st, they celebrated Children's Day with a huge party for the Children's Ministry areas. There were games, pizza, and lots of prizes. The congregation did a great job donating toys so that all the kids could go home with new, fun items.
