IMPACTOLatino Church Planting News February 2023

At the end of January, Expansión had their second baptism.  Talina started attending Expansión a few months ago because of a family crisis.  She studied with Expansión leaders for a time and then made the decision to surrender her life to Christ.  Please pray for her as she grows in her faith.  Continue to pray for the Expansión congregation as it impacts its community on the northwestern side of Querétaro. 

GIVE TO EXPANSION

In January, Expansión Mérida had its evaluation and planning meeting with its Management Team.  They were all able to gather in person in "The White City" as Mérida is nicknamed.  The days they spent together were full of celebration of what God has been doing since the team arrived in July as well as much prayer and planning for what will happen in 2023.  The church planting team, led by Tony Moreno, was able to show the Management Team around the city and pray in strategic places.  Please pray for the Expansión Mérida team comprised of Tony, Jackie (and their kids Jerhay and Rayhan), along with Jaque and Deborah.

IMPACTO continues to create innovative ways to strengthen local churches and leaders.  The third season of the Más IMPACTO podcast began last week.  The weekly podcast has practical ministry tips and encouraging interviews with Christian leaders.  

Another project in the works is Rocket Kids.  This new program focuses on entrepreneurship for kids and teens.  Topics include creativity, problem solving, and perseverance all from a Biblical worldview. It is designed to be hosted by churches and open to the community as a way to build relationships.  Please pray for the team as they finish up all the final details and then partner with local churches to offer the course.
