La Viña at One Year and A New Neighborhood

On Sunday May 19, Iglesia Cristiana La Viña will celebrate its first anniversary.  We are thankful for what God has done during this year.  The first four months of 2019 have seen an average of 88 people on Sunday mornings.  The weekly offering has increased by over 25%.  La Viña began with 3 Life Groups meeting around Querétaro.  There are now five due to multiplication.  Six people have surrendered their lives to Christ in baptism and more will take the same step at the anniversary celebration!  Twelve people are in the final level of the "To the Victory Summit" discipleship training with a new group starting in June.  Thank you for your prayers on behalf of La Viña.  We look forward to what God will do in year two!

The team for "Comunidad Cristiana El Mirador"  El Mirador Christian Community  is meeting weekly on Fridays to work on planning and strategies for the new church plant which will launch this fall, Lord willing,  They also spend time in the community meeting people, watching the dynamics, and praying.  Please pray for Andrés, Joseph and Misael and their families as they pray and plan.  Pray for unity, wisdom, clarity and good connections into the community.  Our IMPACTO Latino team is also still working on raising funds for the new church plant.  If you or church are interested in partnering with us to reach this unreached area, please contact Eric Duggins (eduggins@newinternational.org) or Joe Klein (jklein@newinternational.org)

Sergio and Holly Alvarado represented IMPACTO Latino at the Exponential Español regional conference the first week of May.  This was the first year the church planting regional conference was held in Spanish.  While they were there they were able to make connections with a few church planters who will be planting in Mexico as well as some potential future church planters and missionaries.  Please pray that these will be fruitful connections for reaching Mexico's cities with the Gospel.
