Celebrate with La Viña!

Iglesia Cristiana La Viña (Vineyard Christian Church) held its first worship service on Sunday, May 20th with 147 people in attendance!  Many guests were in attendance having been invited by the management team and congregation.  We were joined by representatives from Community Christian Church in Maryland and Suncrest Christian Church in Indiana.  Luis Lopez pastor of Iglesia Cristiana in Pachuca and Juan Carlos Hernandez, pastor of Iglesia Cristiana Jesucristo Fuente de Vida were both in attendance with their families representing their churches who are supporting Iglesia Cristiana La Viña.  Students and staff from Universidad Cristiana de Mexico (Mexico Christian University) were present as well.  

Everything ran smoothly and Pastor Gerardo preached on La Viña's mission statement "Transform families with the Gospel to impact the city of Querétaro."  We look forward to seeing lives and families transformed because of the ministry of La Viña.  Please pray for the follow up that will be done with visitors.  Please pray for this Sunday's service as it will be the first service in our regular location, the IMPACTOnetwork offices.

We celebrated the launch with a party after the service.  People stayed and ate "tacos de guisado" and we ate 6 cakes!  People went home with happy hearts and fully bellies.  Thanks to a generous gift from IDES, we were able to give Bibles to visitors who didn't have their own understandable version of the Bible.
