4/4/2020 Duggin family e-update / April 2020Greetings in Christ. It's been a very strange few weeks. As we watched the news we saw our home country move toward major attempts to decrease the spread of Covid-19 but our adopted home seemed to be ignoring the implications. Finally, in mid-march several of the State Governments in Mexico began to take steps such as closing schools and limiting crowds to 50 people. Though most restaurants and taco places remained open. After a week or so the State Government here in Queretaro dropped down to limits of 10 people and finally began closing most gathering places. At the federal level there was little movement and what was especially worrying was that major events continued in Mexico City, one of the most densely populated places on earth. That has now changed but there are concerns that Mexico will face some difficult days ahead. The affect on the La Viña Church has been profound. With the orders of no groups of 50 the church leadership moved to an on-line format for the Sunday Celebration. There was still a hope that the small groups might continue, however, it quickly became evident that they too would need to move to on-line. These transitions were eased somewhat by the expertise that IMPACTOLatino has in producing on-line materials and much of the production can be done at the Network offices and studio. The small Group leaders are trying to keep connected with their groups through phone, text and even the group meetings continuing through Zoom or other apps . We continue to coach church planters and participate on the Administrative Teams for La Viña Church and the Anchor Church by Zoom meetings. Church on-line at La Viña Christian Church in Queretaro, Mexico. First Sunday was on March 22. Special services will be on the Church's Facebook site for Holy Week on Thursday, Friday and Easter Sunday. The newest church, the Anchor Church was to launch at the end of May. They are especially struggling with all the restrictions. Since they were just beginning to work with some small groups in their area. These were new contacts and the groups had not yet "gelled.: We ask for your prayers for this new work to find creative ways to serve during this difficult time.
We have been staying home as much as possible and Holly has encouraged us to be careful since we are in the higher risk demographics. She and Sergio have even done some of the shopping for us. We also have a small market that will deliver. We did make a trip to Pachuca to arrange the final payment for the sale of the house and sign the final paperwork. This was about a month early, but I think everyone wanted to get it finished with all the uncertainty. As we left Pachuca we went by one of the plazas and it was filled with tents that were set up as a field hospital to prepare for what is coming. That was sobering. Many are very concerned that the medical system in Mexico will quickly become overwhelmed and it seems that the spread of the virus is about three to four weeks behind what has been happening in the United States. The U.S. Ambassador encouraged all U.S. Citizens to leave Mexico saying something like, "If you get sick, where would you prefer to be in the hospital." A bit strong but it does indicate that there are significant concerns for Mexico. We therefore, have moved our leaving date to April 6. Our responsibilities with both IMPACTOLatino and New International will be done from a home base in Indiana until October. We have mixed feelings about leaving our family and team here in Mexico but we do feel that is the best decision at this point. We will be staying with some long-time friends and supporters north of Indy until we are able to finalize our housing arrangements on the Southside of Indy. New International activated its Global Crisis Response Team as the virus has progressed across the globe. As Regional Directors of the Americas and Caribbean we are presently involved in doing a risk assessment for each of the affiliate families in our region. We will then be working with those affiliate on contingency plans in the following weeks and will be in contact with our families by phone at least every other week over the next few months. We express our gratitude to our partners for your prayers and the faithful support! When we heard that 10 million lost jobs in the United States, we were shocked. Our son, Andrew, was one of those so we are prayerful, asking the Lord keep supplying the needs of individuals and ministries around the world. The financial situation is stretching our creativity as we find temporary ways to bridge this time of so much uncertainty. The owner of the Sport Club where the La Viña Church rents space is a Christian gentleman and has said that he will not charge for the month of April. Our IMPACTOLatino staff has been working on ways that funds that can be moved around to cover some immediate needs as the La Viña Church has lost a significant donor. BE PRAYING FOR: 1. We would ask you to pray for Andrew. He is in Minneapolis helping with a Church Plant and was working there to supply his needs. He is one of those that have lost his job. He is looking at options and also got word that the former job may be calling him back but nothing was yet sure. 2. Ask for you prayers as we travel on Monday, April 6. We have our anti-bacterial gel and masks ready to use and praying there will not be any disruptions. 1/21/2020 Duggins Family eUpdate / January 2020We have been very blessed over the last months and we are grateful to you as partners who participate with us through your prayers and giving. |
On October 31 we returned to Queretaro, Mexico and made the next important steps in this transition. We began the process to move from the house we had been in for almost three years. We found a smaller, one level house and more importantly, with lower rents. We move the first couple of weeks of November while attending several important projects, including the meeting of the Board of Advisors of IMPACTOLatino that were meeting for the first time in Mexico. |
Upon return to Queretaro, we were also asked to join in the Administrative Counsel for the coming new congregation, The Anchor church. This new congregation has its lead church planter and an additional staff couple that will most likely participate on a part-time arrangement. The original plan was that this congregation would launch at the end of 2019, however, fundraising goals were not reached and that launch has had to be delayed. The Administrative Counsel will be meeting in the next weeks to project when a new launch date is feasible. Of the the annual need only 34% has been committed to by partnering congregations. Fortunately, that is enough to pay the lead pastor and his family. Andy and Bitia (lead pastors) have been able to move to the target area of Queretaro and the team has been able to being the cell group ministry.

PRAISE AND PRAYER REQUESTS:
-We want to thank you for your prayers about the house sale in Pachuca. Papers were signed in October. The funds received will help us set-up our living situation in Indy.
-We would ask you to pray for Andrew. He is settling into life in Minnesota and is excited about being part of the North City church plant. However, he is looking at other options for employment. Be praying for a smooth transition to a new opportunity.
-Be praying with us about the funding for the Anchor Church. We still need $40,000 yearly to completely funding for this new church. We are looking at new projects and funding sources to expand possibilities and the team just spent time brainstorming about how to move the funding forward. Be praying for us as we lead in this area of IMPACTOLatino. Though the lead pastor and his colleague is not waiting and has started several small groups, the official launch will most likely be delayed beyond the first half of 2020.
-We would ask that you be praying for a grand-nephew, Liam. Because of problems he was born very early and his still in natal care. He is gaining weight and improving each day. Pray for his protection.
We have been blessed greatly these last months. We have been involved in a wide range of ministries and we are very thankful that our Lord permits us to continue ministry here in Mexico and throughout the America's Region with New International. We wanted to catch you up on major events that have happened and will be continuing this year. We are thankful for your faithful prayers and financial gifts!

APRIL As Regional Directors of the Americas and Caribbean we are to visit with each affilate family once a year. We had tried to visit with our affilates in Haiti two previous years but because of unrest or huricanes, we were forced to cancel those trips. Unfortunately, once again this year, we were forced to cancel our visit because of major unrest in Haiti that began in Februay. The US Embassy had raised the threat level to Level 4, which was a "no-go" recommendation. We just recently got word that that the threat level has been lowered to 3, which means we should be able to replan that visit next year. During the third week of April our team invited two senior Pastors to come to Queretaro for a Vision Summit about the next church plant planned for Queretaro. David Garrison from the Northside Christian Church and Brandon Guindon of Real Life Texas and one elder from each congregation joined us here for the Vision Summit presentation and conversations about the possibility of participating with the new church planting team. It was very quick but we saw that this was an effective way to present the vision that IMPACTO has to reach Mexico. We are still talking with these congregations and are praying for their decison making processes and are hopeful for good news. In April, we joined the Administrative Group of La Viña. This group meets once a month to help counsel and guide our new Churches. Dee has been participating in the Staff meetings for several months at the leader in the Children's Ministry area. Eric will also be participating on the Administrative Group for the next church that will most likely launch the frist part of next year. |
MAY As International Cross-cultiural missionaries, we are not aways around for important family events. However, in May we were able to participate in the wedding of Nancy, Dee's sister as she married Dennis Felix. Eric was asked to do the ceremony at a small village close to Lafayette, Indiana. It was a great family event and we were very excited for Nancy and Dennis. The following week we had the privilage to visit with New International affilates in Buffalo that are working with refugees from Samolia that have settled in this northern US city. We were able to visit with this visionary couple and are excited about their commitment to reach a very resistant ethnic group. On May 19 the La Viña Church celebrated its first anniversary. Eric and Dee were asked to organize that celebration which included the meal and the decorations. It was a lot of work but the celebration and dinner were great blessings. We had a extra special blessing however, our two granddaughters, Abby & Emmy were baptized after the the celebration. |
JUNE Upon returning to Mexico from our visit in Buffalo, Eric had to re-pack at the airport to continue traveling on to Dallas as Dee caught a bus back to Queretaro. Eric participated at the Excel Discovery Center at the TCAL church on the southside of Dallas. The Discovery Center is an assessment and teaching time for potential new church planters. Joseph Klein and Holly Alvarado were part of the IMPACTO group that was invited to observe and participate in the assessment of several couples looking at Church Planting ministries. After traveling about two weeks, Eric was happy to get home. On Sunday, June 9, we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. We went out to eat with Holly, Sergio and the kids for a special meal after church. This was a simple celebration but a more extensive one will be coming in October. We are taking a Cruise from Athens, through several islands, Crete and Patmos and will also visit the ruins of Ephesus (Turkey). This cruise is called the "Cities of Paul" and will have teaching times lead by David Faust, associate minister at E91 Church of Indianapolis. We are going with long-time friends Marvin and Donna Hitchcock. It should be a great 10 days! During the last week of June we had a group of youth from the Commiunity Christian Church of White March, Maryland (Baltimore area). Twenty-four youth and sponsors were quite a project for the team to host in conjunction with the La Viña church. The Community church is one of 5 U.S. congregations that are partners with the La Viña church here in Queretaro. Joy and Hector Rodriquez took the lead with this group as the missionaries that work closely with La Viña. They did a wonderful job! As you could imagin, we were very blessed by this group but also very relieved that they all left with no major injuries or major crisis. |
COMING EVENTS:

Duggins Family eUp-date Jan.-Feb. 2019
It is amazing how fast this year is moving. That may seem an amazing statement thinking that we are just in February, but it's been an amazing year even for just two months.
On January 9, Eric flew to Santiago de Chile to visit with one of the New International affiliate families of the Americas Region. He had the privilege to preach at the Metropolitan Church of Christ and also had a couple of visits with Pastor Sergio. We had a good and productive time with Habacuc & Liz Diaz, New International's family participating with the ministries at the Metropolitan church and in a Christian School serving both missionaries and Christian families in Santiago. The Metropolitan church has been through some difficult times in the last couple of years but it is exciting to see that the congregation is recovering and beginning to grow again.
In this visit, Eric saw several major urban areas that need new dynamic churches. Haitians have migrated to Santiago in significant numbers and a Haitian outreach could have a major impact. One concerning note however, the Church generally in Santiago seemed discouraged with reaching this and other fast growing communities in the urban areas of Chile. Several Christian leaders seemed to feel that the "evangelistic zeal" has become less intense in Chile and the culture is moving away from Christ at a significant pace.

The Residency Program of the IMPACTOnetwork began again about the same time Eric left for Chile. Upon return to Mexico, he had to finish preparations for two days (4 hours) of teaching with the Residents and the students from the Christian University of Mexico. All four of our missionary men of IMPACTOLatino are teaching in the Residency Program and we are excited see how the residents and the students are expressing life changing insights in church planting and living in Christian community.
On January 9, New Mission Systems International launched their new branding. NMSI is now New International and has a new updated logo and a new webpage. The new branding has been in the works for about a year. There are several reasons the new branding was launched and one important reason was to make the name less problematic in sensitive areas of the world where New International has workers.
New International has the same heart and vision, Transforming Lives Globally. We wanted you to also be aware that donations can be accepted in both names presently, but eventually the "New International" name will need to be used for checks. The webpage donation page has been simplified and donations can be done through debit cards, credit carts or electronic checks.

The last week of January we headed to Fort Myers for the annual meeting of the Regional Directors of New International. We were blessed by the meetings with the other directors and were especially blessed by the teachings of David Aderholt on Professional and Personal Development strategies. Jeff Metzger, Director of New International, also joined us and updated the directors on advances within the mission generally.
We returned to Mexico on February 2 from Fort Myers and worked with the IMPACTO team to prepare for a seminar that the network was offering to the students, leaders of the La Viña church and other congregations in the Queretaro area. The seminar was on the discipling program, ROOTED and was lead by three staff members of the Compass Christian Church from Colleyville, Texas. We had close to 30 participates in the two night introduction and teaching about the ROOTED program with five different congregations participating in the four hours of teaching.
It was a great blessing to have CM Habermelh (new director of International Missions at Compass), Heidi, who is a staff member in the missions area and Rowy who is the director over the Rooted program at Compass share this life changing discipling program. Our team hosted these good friends and we were able to share quite a bit about the vision of the network.

On February 14th the La Viña church hosted a couples dinner. Over half of those that attended were first time visitors.. We were asked to give a short teaching as part of the programs so we did a teaching about the LOVE BANK and making deposits through the FIVE LOVE LANGUAGES. We were given about 20 minutes, so the teaching was short but seemed to be well received by all the participants.
On February 21 begins one of the network's major annual events, AVANZA. AVANZA is the IMPACTOnetwork's assessment of potential new church planters. Three couples are confirmed to participate in the four days of teaching, group activities, interviews and evaluations concentrated on these three couples that are considering planting a church with the network. Eric will be one of the observers evaluating these couples. Dee is on Grandkid duty, since Holly is the director of the four days of AVANZA. |
We are excited that Pastores Gerardo and Nati Dominguez have arrived in Queretaro just after Christmas and they are now taking on the role of the Church Planting pastor of La Viña church. Just before Christmas the La Viña church moved from the offices of the IMPACTOnetwork to a rented facility in a local sports club. The club is owned by a Christian family and has been very open to the church even giving us wall space on the outside of the club for promotional signs. On Sunday, February 10, we had 102 people present for the Sunday celebration, a record since the Launch Sunday last May.
COMING EVENTS:
February 24 / Eric is preaching at La Viña.
February 26 / Eric is joining the Management Team for La Viña. Dee continues to direct the Sunday School program at La Viña.
March 27-30 / Mexico Missionary Reunion
April 2 to 9 / We will be doing a field visit to Haiti. Two New International affiliates are in Haiti. One in Port-au-Prince and other in norther Haiti, Pigon. We would ask you be praying about this trip. There has been major unrest in Haiti with anti-government riots. We are hopeful that things will return to normal by the time of our visit. We have had to cancel two previous trips because of challenges in-country.
April 22-24 / Houston Pastors' Visit in Queretaro. Two congregations in the Houston area are coming to Queretaro to talk about partnership with the next church plant in Queretaro this year. They are indicating that they are wanting to bring leaders from other congregations that could potentially partner with the network.

We are exited for him but there are still a lot of details to work through and will involve a move to a new city.
4. A PRAISE: We have had two major donations to the IMPACTOLatino ministry. We are very thankful for a generous gift from SouthEast Christian Church in Louisville, KY and the Compass Christian Church in the Dallas area. Duggins Family April eUpdate
CHURCH LAUNCH ON PENTECOST SUNDAY
The IMPACTOLatino team is excited that within a month the first church plant of our new Mexican church planting organization, the IMPACTOnetwork, will launch on May 20th, Pentecost Sunday. The launch will be in the southwest section of Santiago de Queretaro know as Corregidora. Actually Corregidora is a city in its own right but is part of the Metropolitan area of Queretaro.
The management team has chosen the name of the church, Iglesia Cristiana La Viña (The Vine Christian Church) and paperwork is beginning, taking the first steps that the Mexican government requires for a new church registration. The management team has also organized to cover responsibilities for for the new church in areas of worship, the Cell ministries, Children's ministries and preaching.

Geraldo Dominguez is coming to Queretaro every month and is in electronic contact with the management team as decisions move forward. Geraldo is ministering in Matamoros (a city on the border with the United States) and is working on transitions with the congregation he has been ministering with for several years. Geraldo and Natalia will move to Queretaro with their two youngest children in December (there oldest daughter will be married in November and remain in Matamoros). Geraldo will be preaching at La Viña once a month. Several of our team will be in the rotation of preaching.
La Viña is a unique beginning for the IMPACTOnetwork. The congregation will begin in a unique situation. The Christian University of Mexico (UCM) asked our IMPACTOLatino team to fold a small congregation they had started on campus into this first church plant. Therefore there will be a group of 35 to 40 that we will begin with us to plant this first congregation. La Viña will also be our "teaching church" and the IMPACTOnetwork apprentices will be fully involved in the congregation for the 40 week program. Though our apprentice program is beginning with one family it eventually will be two families a year. Students at the University may also participate at La Viña and upper class students will participate with the apprentice program each year. La Viña will also be the home congregation of the IMPACTOLatino team.
Eric and Dee will be involved at La Viña, but more in the background. Dee will be helping and mentoring the leader of the Children's program. Eric will be in the preaching rotation and will help with other events and teaching times as asked by the management team of the congregation. Because our responsibilities in US fundraising and missionary recruiting and also Field Trips as the Regional Directors of the Americas, there will be on-going periods when we will be away from Queretaro.
Be praying with us this month for the launch on May 20. The team is looking at options for holding this first Sunday at a Hotel or facilities set up for special celebrations. We are expecting that with visitors, guests and the curious we could be 120 people. They are also looking at options for the weekly celebrations. Because of costs of rental space, it is likely that after the special launch Sunday, the celebrations will be held at the IMPACTOnetwork Offices and Training facility till the end of the year. However, our limit is about 60 adults so the management team is investigating options.
Blessings,
Eric & Dee

January / February 2018
2018 has already been busy. Our whole team is working to finish up the preparations for the IMPACTOnetwork's first Assessment Center (AVANZA) of potential lead pastors that will be held February 9-11. Holly Alvarado has been leading the team in organizing and making sure all the arrangements are in place. Each team member has been working hard to finish up a whole range of projects including candidate interviews and testing; travel and housing arrangement, organization of evaluating groups, seminars and group activities. Participants in the Assessment Center are coming from Queretaro, Pachuca, Northern Mexico and several location in the United States. There will also be a family assessed from the church planting group, STADIA, who may begin a church in northern Mexico.
Eric will be doing three seminars at the Assessment and a testimony time and Dee will be concentrating on hosting, a few meals and watching and teaching the grandkids during the week of the AVANZA.

Church Plant - QUERETARO
We have every confidence that at least one of the candidates will be chosen as the lead pastor for the first church planted under the IMPACTOnetwork. That first church will be planted in Queretaro, a major and fast growing urban center 3 hours north of Mexico City. This first church will be a “teaching church”. The IMPACTOnetwork is preparing a residency program with the vision of having two resident families that would prepare to plant churches in Mexico’s cities in the following years.
We are excited that four congregations in the United States are part of the network partners for this first church. We are also excited that three churches from Mexico are also financially participating in this first church plant, two are from Pachuca and one in Queretaro.
The Queretaro church will be launched on May 20, 2018 and will be the home church for most of the IMPACTOnetwork staff.
If you would be able to help with the residency program costs consider a donation by clicking on the following link.

Berenice Hernandez de Trejo
Many who have visited with us during our ministry in Pachuca met a dear Christian lady that was part of the Pachuca Project for more than 20 years. Last week, Bere lost her battle with cancer and went home. Berenice had fought cancer two previous times and this last time out-lasted all estimates of the doctors and experts. More than her very brave flight against cancer, her faith was a bright light that shown to all she met. Berenice's son-in-law is now the Pastor of the Jubilee Christian Church and her son, Carlos, is one of the preaching elders at the congregation. We were blessed to have had her as a friend and fellow minister in the work in Pachuca.

Family News:
-Many have asked about Andrew. After two months working as a Temp worker at FedEx, he has been hired full-time at a FedEx location on the South side of Indianapolis. He is concentrating on paying off some debt and continues to send out resumes to churches. Thanks for the prayers for him.
-Dee continues to teach Abby, Emmy and Eric part of their home schooling days. She enjoys those times extensively!
-Dee's mom is doing well. She is in memory care at a center on the south side of Indianapolis. Mom Rumler went through a few difficult months after a fall and having to do rehab and changing facilities from Anderson, Indiana to Indianapolis. We are very grateful for the good care she is receiving from family and the new facility.
Coming Events:
6-11 February: AVANZA (Assessment Center at the IMPACTOnetwork Training Center)
5-10 March: DiscipleShift training group at the IMPACTOnetwork Center.
11-18 March: Toussaint Family in Queretaro. David Toussaint, Indiana Director of Compass (Financial Ministries) will be doing three Seminars (2 in Queretaro and one in Pachuca).
16-21 April: Field visit to NMSI missionaries in Santiago, Chile
21-27 April: NMSI Regional Directors' meetings in Fort Myers, FL.
Prayer Request:
-For Joel Trejo, husband of Berenice and for Adriana, Carlos and Berenice, her children.
-AVANZA, that the Lord is clear in directing the IMPACTOnetwork to the candidate that will be our lead pastor in the church plant in Queretaro.
-The first church, to launch this May, is fully funded. Be praying for Eric and the team as we contact churches and individuals about the church plant for 2019.
A Need:
We have been greatly blessed over these 30 plus year with faithful congregations and individuals that have made it possible for us to minister in Mexico and see several churches be planted. However, in the last few years we have seen changes in our support level. Three congregations have or will be closing their doors, one just informed us this month. We have been able to adjust and some congregations have increased support. However, with this last notification and also the expanding of our ministry into recruiting and fundraising, we are finding that travel expenses to present the IMPACTOLatino church planting projects to churches and to Christian Universities are putting pressures on our budgets. We are therefore asking that you give prayerful consideration at becoming a monthly supporter of our ministry as we work with the IMPACTO team to see the church planted in the great cities of Mexico.
We are looking for 5 individuals or families that can give $100 monthly. And 10 individuals that can give $50 a month. Thanks for praying about your participation with us!

December 2017
On Christmas 1979 Mom and Dad Duggins gave us a special gift celebrating our first Christmas as a married couple. a ceramic manger scene. That became a Christmas tradition up until both Mom and Dad went home at which time Eric's sister, Sheila, took over the mantel giving us a manger scene each year. Over the years we have added to that collection from places we have visited to the point that we have more than 40 manger scenes. At Christmas, about everywhere you look inside the house, there is a unique manger scene, some made of glass, wood, straw or clay.
During Christmas, we celebrate a great mystery. Emmanuel came to live among us! In our house, some of the of those mangers scenes stay out all year helping us remember that we should celebrate our Lord's birth, death and resurrection, EVERYDAY!
We pray you have a wonderful Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
In Christ Jesus,
Eric & Dee Duggins

MOVE TO QUERETARO
On May 9 the truck came with four workers and in two hours had our house loaded and they were on the road to Queretaro. Getting to Queretaro, we had arranged with the Christian University for six of its students to help unload the truck and within about two hours we had most everything in the right room, if only in boxes. The next two weeks of May we unpacked boxes, put furniture back together and hung pictures. We wanted to have most of the house ready before we left for Field Visits to NMSI affiliates in Buffalo and Toronto. Eric was also putting together his office area at the IMPACTOnetwork office about 5 minutes from the house.
Queretaro is lower in altitude and therefore is hotter than Pachuca and then heat has been a challenge to adjust to. We did end up putting an Air Conditioner in the master bedroom which did help immensely at night. We also had to change phone numbers, official addresses with immigration and find an internet provider. Dee is fixing one of the rooms at the house as a area for teaching since she is going to help with homeschooling for Abby, Emmy and Eric two days a week starting in September.
We really like the neighborhood where we are located. All the houses are new so there seems to be someone moving in about every week. Cost of living is higher in Queretaro than it was in Pachuca so we are also having to adjust budgets.

IMPACTOnetwork OFFICE
Sergio Alvarado worked hard and long to get the office facility remodel finished. The office is professional in its arrangement and appearance. As is almost always the case, it took longer than anticipated and there seemed to be always an additional cost that came up. This week the final organization is happening and the interns from Johnson University are helping unpack the last boxes of books and materials and putting them in a storage closet.
Eric is presently writing a 12 part study on the Cell Church model that will be used as part of the training for Lead Pastors and their staff in preparation for the church launches. These studies will eventually be 12 videos, each one lasting about 10 minutes and having worksheets that will be part of the training. The recording will be done here at the IMPACTOnetwork office and is a cooperative project with Good News Productions International.
Regional Directors of the Americas
We had the opportunity to visit three NMSI affiliate families as part of our responsibilities as the Regional Directors of the Americas. We visited in Buffalo with a family working with refugees from the northern Africa. Since their work is sensitive in nature, we can not say a whole lot about the ministry, but we were impressed with how they have connected with the refugee community and made an impact through their service of love to that community.

We later went on to Toronto to visit a family that has been part of the Haiti work of NMSI. Nego and Ellen had worked with youth and youth leaders in the Jacmel area on the southern coast of Haiti. They also helped with a church and school in one of the villages about 2 hours up in the mountains. Their team of young adults continue the work while they are in Canada retooling and looking for funds. Since Ellen is Canadian and Nego is a permanent resident of Canada they were able to work there as they search out God’s leading for their future ministry and funding.
At the end of July we also had the opportunity to visit with Shawn and Susan Inchaustegui in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Shawn and Susan are doing Sports Camps (Evangelism and Discipling) directed to communities in Cuernavaca and Mexico City. We spent three days with them taking about vision and projects and Eric had the opportunity to see the location they are researching as a place of a future campsite.
In August, Eric will be going to Santiago Chile to visit with the Diaz-Ramos Family. He will be with them less than a week and will be helping them with vision and plans for their next phase of ministry. At the end of August, Eric and Dee both with be visiting in Indianapolis. Dee will go a week to visit with her mom in Greenwood, Indiana and Eric will join her later when they will visit with the Banta Family that has been doing Hispanic ministry. On the way back to Mexico, they will visit in Dallas with the Klein Family who is fundraising to join IMPACTO Latino in Queretaro. We also plan to visit with the Compass Christian Church in Dallas and the Northside Christian Church in Houston.
We have one other major trip yet to make, we are still trying to work on a schedule for a visit in Haiti. There are three family units working in Haiti that we have not yet met. We need to see their ministry and introduce ourselves in person (we have talked by Skype or phone). It is possible that trip will be in September. If not, it may be after the first of the year. We are waiting on NMSI budgets for the Regional Directors to be approved before making final plans.

OUR FINAL MINISTRIES WITH JUBILEE
On July 9 the Jubilee church is having our party to say good-bye officially to the Duggins and to the Rodrigues Family (who will be leaving in August for Queretaro). This will be a special day. Eric will be preaching and there will be lots of food and good fellowship. Eric also has two wedding, one July 15 and another August 26. These will be the last responsibilities that we will have with Jubilee for the foreseeable future.
